My dad, two friends, former Eagles wide receiver Freddie Mitchell, and I headed out for a day of fluke fishing, but we couldn’t find anything except shorts. We decided to change plans and run offshore looking for tuna, and that move turned into an unforgettable experience. Instead of tuna, we found nearly an acre of the elusive New Jersey redfish cruising and feeding on the surface. They were fired up and eating everything we threw at them, making it one of the most incredible sights and fishing experiences any of us had ever seen in New Jersey.
